Colours, pins and labels

Twelve colours, pin what matters to the top, and group notes with labels like “Work” or “Recipes”.

Floating note windows

Open several notes at once. Drag them anywhere, minimise them to a dock, or expand one to full screen.

Drag to arrange

Drag cards into the order you like — press and hold on a phone.

Images on notes

Add photos and screenshots to any note.

Archive and trash

MyNotes questions

Is MyNotes free?

Yes. MyNotes is part of MyClipCloud and is free, with no paid plans and no ads.

Do I need an account to use MyNotes?

No. Without an account your notes are saved only in the browser you write them in — nothing is sent to our server. Clearing that browser's site data deletes them, so sign in (free) if you want them kept safe and available on your other devices.

Where are my notes stored?

Signed out: in your browser's own storage on this device. Signed in: on our servers, encrypted at rest (XChaCha20-Poly1305, server-side, not end-to-end), and on the devices where you are signed in.

Is MyNotes like Google Keep?

It works the same way: notes and checklists as cards, colours, pins, labels, reminders, images, archive and trash. It adds floating note windows you can drag, minimise and expand, and you can use it without an account.

Do reminders work when MyNotes is closed?

With an account, yes: reminders arrive as notifications once you allow them in your browser. Without an account there is no server to send them, so a reminder pops up only while MyNotes is open in that browser.

How do I move my notes to another device?

Sign in. MyNotes offers to move the notes saved in this browser into your account, with their colours, labels, checklists and images. Sign in with the same account on the other device and they are there.

Can I open several notes at the same time?

Yes. Each note opens in its own window that you can drag anywhere, resize, minimise to the dock at the bottom of the screen or expand to full screen. Open windows stay with you as you move around MyClipCloud. On a phone a note opens as a full-screen sheet; drag it down to minimise it.
