Terms of service
The rules for using MyClipCloud.
Last updated: 18 October 2026
1. The service
MyClipCloud, operated by [operator legal name], lets you store text you copy and access it from your other signed-in browsers. It works only while a MyClipCloud tab is open, and only reads or writes your device clipboard as your browser permits.
2. Your account
You sign in with Google or with your email address and a password, and you are responsible for activity on your account. Keep your password private. Remove devices you no longer control. You must be old enough to use online services in your country.
3. Acceptable use
- Do not use the service for unlawful content or to harm others.
- Do not try to access other users' data, overload the service, or bypass its security or limits.
- Do not store secrets such as passwords or one-time codes; the service is not a password manager.
4. Your content
You keep all rights to what you store. You allow us to store, encrypt and transmit it only to provide the service to you. Items are deleted according to your retention settings or when you delete them.
When you use Nearby without an account, you are responsible for what you send and for accepting only devices you recognise. Guest items are not stored after delivery; we may limit or switch off Nearby to prevent abuse.
5. Limits and availability
Usage limits (such as item size, device count and request rates) apply and may change. The service is provided "as is"; we work to keep it available and secure but cannot guarantee uninterrupted operation or that content will never be lost. Do not use it as your only copy of important information.
6. Suspension and termination
You can delete your account at any time. We may suspend accounts that break these terms or put the service or other users at risk.
7. Liability
[Operator to insert limitation-of-liability and governing-law clauses appropriate to their jurisdiction.]
8. Changes
We may update these terms; the date above shows the latest version. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
